Senior Sales Engineer
Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Engineer to lead and support the sales and business development efforts for our Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and Heat Treatment Services. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of these services, proven experience in client relationship management, and a successful track record in sales and market development in industrial sectors such as oil & gas, petrochemical, power, and manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Promote and sell NDT and Heat Treatment services by understanding client requirements and offering suitable technical solutions.
- Follow up regularly with clients to ensure satisfaction, gather feedback, and identify future opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver technical/commercial proposals, quotations, and tender submissions.
- Conduct site visits and attend meetings to assess client needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall business development strategy.
- Maintain a detailed understanding of industry trends, competitor activity, and new technologies in NDT and heat treatment.
- Coordinate internally with operations and technical teams to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations.
- Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for management.
- Participate in industry exhibitions, networking events, and technical seminars.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related discipline).
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in sales and client follow-up, within NDT and/or Heat Treatment services.
- Strong technical understanding of NDT methods (e.g., UT, RT, MT, PT, VT) and heat treatment processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Ability to travel to client sites and industrial locations as required.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to work in the field when necessary.
