Business Development Engineer/ Senior Engineer (Communication Systems)
Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically competent Business Development Engineer with a solid background in industrial and communication systems (Ethernet, Modbus, Wireless, Fiber Optic). The candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying opportunities, specifying products with major end-users, and expanding market presence nationally and internationally.

Responsibilities
  • Market Development
    • Identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key end-users, EPCs, and consultants in Saudi Arabia/ and out side.
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to propose strategic actions.
  • Technical Expertise & Support
    • Provide technical presentations, demonstrations, and consultations on communication systems including Ethernet, Modbus, Wireless, and Fiber Optic solutions.
    • Work with clients during the specification stage to ensure products are included in project designs and tender documents.
  • Business Development & Sales
    • Achieve sales and business development targets by specifying products with major end-users and securing approvals.
    • Develop and execute account management plans for strategic customers.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial offers aligned with customer needs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to strengthen the company’s market position.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Communications Engineering or related field.
  • Experience:
    • 3–6 years of experience in business development, technical sales, or product specification in the Saudi market.
    • Proven experience working with communication systems (Ethernet, Modbus, Wireless, Fiber Optic).
    • Knowledge of ARAMCO Material Approval procedures and vendor pre-qualifications is highly desirable
    • Went through and acquired experience in the process of product specification alongside consultants and primary end clients
  • Skills:
    • Strong technical understanding of communication protocols and industrial networking solutions.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
    • Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
    • Ability to travel and engage with clients independently
    • Demonstrated success in business development and established network within the Gulf's oil and gas industry
